Chris came home with some AMAZING photos of his trip! I think he took over 500 photos himself, plus about 20 videos, and then the rest of the team shared a ton of pictures as well. I don't want to give away too much as I know Chris is looking forward to sharing his trip with our families over Thanksgiving, but here are just a few of my favorites:

Greetings from Choimim, Kenya, Africa!

Chris emailed me this morning with some very cool pictures from his visit to Africa. I think he took these with his camera, so there are only a few of them, but there are SO many more to come after he gets home! So the plan is for the team to eat a gourmet meal at a restaurant called "Carnivore", where there are only 3 in the whole world! Then they'll catch their first flight out (around 11pm their time/3pm EST) from Nairobi to Amsterdam. The next flight from Amsterdam to Atlanta will depart at 10:20am their time/4:20am EST). UNFORTUNATELY they will have a 10 1/2 hour layover in Atlanta BEFORE they get on their last plane to come home (7pm EST). It's a really long trip, but they're almost here! It's been so wonderful to receive these unexpected calls and emails from Chris throughout his trip - it's made it a lot easier for me! I cannot wait to have him home!!!
