Babies, Babies Everywhere!

In the last 2 weeks, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming 2 new babies into our world! Our dear friends, Ryan & Valerie and Rob & Kelly, both gave birth to their first baby only 8 days apart from each other. What an exciting time!!! We now have 1 more baby girl and 1 more baby boy in our inner circle.  Ryan and Valerie welcomed baby Ella Kay Haynes on 4/14/10 and Rob & Kelly welcomed baby Luke Robert Sides on 4/22/10. Sadly, we did not take any pictures of our visit with baby Ella, but here are a couple from my introduction to baby Luke. What a gem they both are and we are so thrilled that they are finally here!!!

Baby Shower No. 2

I’m a little late in posting this, but I can’t neglect it altogether! As previously mentioned, I (along with some good friends) threw 2 very special baby showers last month. Baby shower no. 2 was for my very dear friend, Kelly! Kelly has been a God-send to me these last few years . . . the epitome of a true and loving friend. I was ELATED when I heard the news that she was having a baby (albeit “unplanned”). I just knew how much joy that baby would bring to her heart and I longed to see that happen for her. So when presented with the opportunity to celebrate this special occasion with her, I jumped at it with all that I had! I asked our close friends, Amelia and Sophie, to join me as together we showered our friend with blessings! Since she was having a baby boy and I knew that her nursery theme was jungle animals, we decided to make that the theme of our shower as well. It was a colorful world of blues, greens, yellows, browns, and whites! We had monkey and lion cupcakes, personalized jelly-belly candy jars, custom water bottle labels, and more! It was so much fun planning this surprise for Kelly and we had such a great time working on it together! So here are a few pics from our Jungle Animals Baby Shower!
